Kukryniksy is a creative union of Soviet graphic artists, which included N.A. Sokolov (1903-2000), P.N. Krylov (1902-1990) and M.V. Kupriyanov (1903-1991). They worked in political caricature, book illustration, satirical graphics, and cartoons. We collaborated with many newspapers, such as Literaturnaya Gazeta, Komsomolskaya Pravda, Krasnaya Zvezda and others. During the Great Patriotic War, a number of posters were created: “We will mercilessly defeat and destroy the enemy!”, “Debt is worth paying,” “Brekhomet” and others. In the mid-1930s. The Kukryniksy trio created sculptural models of caricatures of artists, which included busts of: composer S.S. Prokofieva, K.S. Stanislavsky, V.I. Kachalova, I.M. Moskvina, V.E. Meyerhold. The group's works are in the largest museums in Russia.
