* Miklashevsky plant.

The plant was founded in the late 1830s by the owner of the village of Volokitino, Glukhovsky district, Chernigov province, landowner A.M. Miklashevsky. The use of serf labor and specialization in the production of numerous luxury items brought significant income to the owner. Among the utensil forms, vases and bottles stand out in their specificity and abundance. The small plastic pieces created at the plant are characterized by an abundance of caricatures of famous Russian and foreign writers, artists, and performers. At the All-Russian Exhibition of 1839, the plant's products were awarded a large silver medal, and in 1849 a gold medal. The abolition of serfdom in 1861 led to the closure of the enterprise by 1862.
