"Monumentsculpture" is an experimental artistic casting plant named after M.G. Manizer in St. Petersburg, created in 1922 on the basis of a former private foundry. Produces works of monumental art in bronze, granite, and marble. In 1939, the workshop received the official name - the plant of bronze and cast iron casting "Monumentsculpture", in 1970 the plant was named after Manizer. In 1941-45, more than half of the workers fought at the front. The plant carried out military orders. After the war, the workers of “MonumentSculpture” carried out a number of restoration and restoration work, including re-creating the sculptural composition “Samson tearing the lion’s mouth” in Petrodvorets. The plant’s specialists made the sculpture “Motherland” at the Piskarevskoye cemetery, 37 sculptures for the Monument to the heroic defenders of Leningrad on Victory Square, the monument to M.V. Lomonosov on the Mendeleev Line, the monument to F.E. Dzerzhinsky, V.V. Mayakovsky in Moscow, V.I. Lenin in the Moscow Kremlin and many others. Awarded the Order of Labor Red Banner (1972).
