Sculptor. He studied painting with Kuzma Sergeevich Petrov-Vodkin, but then moved to the sculpture class of Alexander Terentyevich Matveev. Since 1929, Boris Evseevich Kaplyansky regularly participated in Soviet art exhibitions. After the end of the war, Boris Evseevich Kaplyansky was engaged in active artistic and teaching activities, and was also often involved in sculptural design of various memorials and monuments. B.E. Kaplyansky was a member of the artistic association “Circle of Artists”, also in the Union of Artists of the RSFSR.
