Takke Boris Alexandrovich

Russian Soviet artist, poster artist, graphic artist. He studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Participant in the exhibition “Jack of Diamonds” (1910). After the revolution, he worked as a poster artist, and by order of the Petrograd Soviet, he designed May Day celebrations. He taught at the F. Rerberg school, then at the Communist University. Sverdlova. He actively participated in exhibitions of the Academy of Artists, the Zhar-Tsvet society, and the Society of Realist Artists. He led a workshop with cartoonists. The artist's works - mainly portraits of leaders and large canvases on the themes of Soviet heroics - were presented at the exhibitions of the 15th anniversary of the Komsomol (1934) and "20 years of the Red Army" (1938). Member of the Moscow Union of Artists.
