The genre of landscape in the fine arts of Kazakhstan developed through the efforts of a whole galaxy of remarkable artists of the older and middle generations, including N. Tansykbaev, who continued the traditions of the family creative dynasty, who made his contribution to the creation of the picturesque image of the republic. Nature in the artist’s works is always calm and majestic; a sense of eternity and constancy dominates here. The artist preferred to use horizontally elongated canvases, which compositionally emphasized the vast expanses of his native land. The artist’s works are in the State Historical Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after. A. Kasteeva.
