Targonsky Valery Filippovich (1940 – 2003, Arkhangelsk).

Graduated from the Leningrad Higher Art and Industrial School named after. V.I. Mukhina. In the mid-1960s he came to Arkhangelsk. For a long time, Targonsky was the main artist of the city, for many years, defining the face of the Arkhangelsk organization of the Union of Artists at zonal, republican and foreign exhibitions. The master's works are in many regional museums and private collections.
