In 1955 he graduated from the State Art Academy. V. Mukhina in Leningrad. Since 1960 - member of the Union of Artists. Since 1962, he has participated in more than 100 all-Union, republican, city and foreign exhibitions. From 1963 to 1993 12 personal exhibitions of the artist took place. The works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Ministry of Culture, in museums in Japan, Italy, Holland, etc.
