In 1918 he entered the Zamoskvoretsk Art School, headed by B.N. Ternovets. In 1921-1925. studied at VKHUTEMAS with B.D. Korolev and A.M. Lavinsky. Upon graduation, he received the title of 1st degree artist. Author of numerous monuments, bas-reliefs, sculptural compositions. In the early 1950s. creates a number of monumental sculptures for the Friendship of Peoples fountain at VDNKh. Participant of all-Union and international exhibitions. The sculptor’s works are stored in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, many regional museums in Russia, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
