Sculptor, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Nikolai Akimovich received his artistic education at the Penza Art School (1937-1942, 1947-1948) in the sculpture department under I.S. Goryushkina-Sorokopudova. In 1948-1954. N.A. Teplov continued his studies at the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repina. The sculptor lived and worked in Leningrad, created dozens of monumental and easel works, including the sculpture “Decree on Land”, monuments to S.M. Kirov, V.I. Lenin, V. Kruchin and others. Since 1964, the Kasli plant has replicated his sculpture by Teplov “A.V. Suvorov”.
