Timofeev Anatoly Pavlovich (BORN 1928, Moscow).

In 1956 he graduated from the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I. Surikov from the workshop of D.K. Mochalsky (thesis “Bazaar in Pereslavl-Zalessky”). In 1957 he joined the Union of Artists of the USSR. Regularly took part in republican and Moscow art exhibitions. A talented painter, in whose work the impressionistic traditions of the Union of Russian Artists (an association that existed in 1903-1922 in Russia) were continued. According to contemporaries, he is one of the brightest and most gifted Russian landscape painters of the second half. XX century. The works are in private collections in Russia and abroad.
