Graduated from the Moscow Secondary Art School at the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I. Surikov. From 1977 to 1983 studied at Moscow State Art Institute named after. V.I. Surikov in the workshop of D.K. Mochalsky. From 1984 to 1987 worked at the Creative Painting Workshop of the USSR Academy of Arts under the direction of A.P. Tkachev and S.P. Tkachev. Since 1985, member of the Union of Artists. Since 1983, he has been a regular participant in Moscow, All-Russian and foreign exhibitions. In particular, her works were exhibited at the All-Russian exhibition for the 2000th anniversary of the Nativity of Christ “In Your Name” (2000), at the anniversary exhibition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Moscow Union of Artists (2002), at the exhibition dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Victory in the Central House of Artists (2005). For most of the year he works in the Tver region, painting village life, the surrounding nature, and portraits of fellow villagers.
