From 1987 to 1989 she studied at the Leningrad Architectural College. In 1990 she took a course in computer graphics at the ART+COM Institute, Berlin, Germany. Since 1990 - member of the New Academy of Fine Arts (since 1997 - professor). In 1991 she founded the Laboratory for the Study of Ornament at the Leningrad Society “A-Ya”. 1st prize “Videovision” at the “Third Reality” festival in St. Petersburg (1995). In 1995 she received a scholarship from the President of Russia. Participant of the Gwangju Biennale (1995). 2nd prize "Best European Computer Graphics" at the GRIFFELKUNST competition, Hamburg, Germany (1998). Lives in St. Petersburg. Works are in the collections of the Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam), the Gallery of Modern Art Palazzo Forti (Verona, Italy), the National Museum of Contemporary Art (Oslo), the State Russian Museum, NCCA, MDF, and private collections.
