Thomas Joseph (1822-1899).

Josef Thoma - painter, landscape painter. The son of the famous artist and designer J. Tom, he took his first painting lessons from his father. Subsequently he was educated at the Vienna Academy of Arts. Alpine landscapes brought the master the greatest fame - in search of picturesque mountain views, Toma Jr. traveled a lot throughout Central Europe from Hungary to Germany and Switzerland, worked in the Austrian province, primarily in the Zillertal valley, near Innsbruck, as well as in Salzburg and Vienna. The works of Joseph Thoma the Younger are in museums and private collections around the world, including the Vienna Historical Museum and the Albertina Museum (Vienna).
