Trofimov Vikenty Pavlovich

Studied at the Moscow Art School. Stroganov (until 1899). Attended the private studios of S. Zhukovsky and N. Khalyavin. From 1906 to 1912 continued his education abroad. In 1906 - 1912 Trofimov participated in art exhibitions in Germany, Austria, Italy, and France. After the revolution, he was one of the leading artists of the realistic movement in Siberia, led the activities of the Omsk branch of the “New Siberia” society and contributed to its reunification with the AHRR. From 1932 he worked in Moscow, then in Zagorsk, in the Trinity-Sergius Lavra, where he was influenced by Russian national art. He took part in the painting of the White Hall of the Moscow City Council and the Museum of Architecture.
