Troitsky Apollon Vasilievich

Troitsky Apollo Vasilievich (1872 - ?).

Russian artist. In 1892 - 1899 he studied at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts. Member and exhibitor of the Society for Mutual Assistance of Russian Artists (1900 – 1908). In 1903 - 1905 he took part in the design of the Cathedral of the Ascension of the Lord in Novocherkassk. For his work in the Cathedral he was awarded the Order of St. Stanislaus, 3rd degree. He painted icons for the Vladimir Church in Kronstadt. Author of portraits and paintings on genre themes. The works are stored in the Far Eastern Museum in Khabarovsk and other museums in Russia.
