Truze-Ternovskaya (Truse-Kokushkina). Painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. She studied at the All-Russian Academy of Arts in Leningrad from 1934. She graduated from the CVC in 1939, her thesis was “Battle on the Ice”, the grade was good. The training took place at the Faculty of Painting, and he was awarded the title of artist-painter. Teacher Rudolf Rudolfovich Frenz. Together with academician of painting V.N. Yakovlev, after the end of the Great Patriotic War, she restored the panorama “Defense of Sevastopol” and painted a number of paintings on revolutionary and military themes. She worked a lot in the genre of still life and portrait. (portrait of the ballet soloist Vaslav Nijinsky, portrait of the writer V.G. Yan, etc.) The works of Yulia Truze-Ternovskaya are in many museums in Russia and abroad, in particular, in the Ivanovo Art Museum, in the Military History Museum in St. Petersburg. For many years she fruitfully collaborated with the Roy Miles Gallery (Great Britain), the Gekkosso Gallery of Ms. Nakamura (Japan), and auction houses in France and Great Britain.
