Sculptor. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1996), Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts (2001). In 1979 he graduated from MGAHI named after. V.I. Surikov in the workshop of M.F. Baburin and N.V. Tomsky. Winner of the Russian Academy of Arts gold medal. Regular participant of exhibitions in Moscow, Paris, USA. The artist's personal exhibitions were held in Pushchino-on-Oka (1980), Moscow (1993, 1996). The works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, in many regional museums, in the Kaliphoff sculpture park in Belgium, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
