Tulin Yuri Nilovich (1921, Maksatikha village, Vyshnevolotsk district, Tver province - 1986).

Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1961). Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1965). Winner of the international Grand Prix award (Brussels, 1958). In 1950 he graduated from the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repin from the workshop of B.V. Ioganson. Participant in exhibitions of Leningrad artists since 1948. Member of the Leningrad Union of Artists since 1951. Personal exhibitions were held in Leningrad (1972, 1986, 1987), Moscow (1972) and St. Petersburg (2001). The artist’s works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, and in many regional museums.
