Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1999). Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1954). He worked in the field of monumental art. He received his first professional skills at the Palekh Art School. In 1939 he entered the Leningrad Academy of Arts. Personal exhibitions were held in the Lukhsky Museum of Local Lore (1977), in Gorky (1979, 1982, 1989, 1999) and in the cities of the Ivanovo region.
