Artist, graphic artist, illustrator, stage designer of Russian origin, who worked in Paris and Hollywood. In 1912 he settled in Paris, entered the R. Julien Academy. In 1914 he moved to the United States, where he worked for leading fashion salons: "Henry Bendl", "Altman", "Lichtenstein". In 1915 he signed a contract with Harper's Bazaar magazine, for which he completed a total of 250 covers. The author's works are presented in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Metropolitan Museum, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and many other museum and private collections.
