Graphic artist, painter, children's book illustrator. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. He studied at courses at the Moscow Art Institute (1940). During the Second World War he produced posters and leaflets. Participant of Moscow, republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions since 1930. Famous works: illustrations for the books “Fairy Tales” by the Brothers Grimm, “What Happened” by B. Zhitkov, “What Do You Have?” S. Mikhalkov and “Horse-Fire” by V. Mayakovsky. His works were published in the Crimean Newspaper, the magazines Pioneer, Rost, Smena, and the publishing houses Molodaya Gvardiya and Detgiz. The artist's works are kept in museums in Russia.
