Born into a family with great artistic traditions. Grandmother - Nina Vatolina, Grandfather - Max Bershtein. She studied at art and English schools. She did not graduate from the Stroganov School and went in search of her own language in design and the world of fashion. The first collection shown was made from old gramophone records. The main prize at the untamed fashion competition in Riga. The second collection of M. Tsigal - “Lapland” - made of fused plexiglass, pasted over with an ornament made of silver film - became a real “show for sale”. Participated as a costume designer in the film "8 ½ Dollars". Topped the list of the best designers in Russia.
