Full member of PAX (1997). State prize winner, People's Artist of Russia. Graphic artist, painter, sculptor, decorative and applied arts artist. In 1946 he graduated from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute. V.I. Surikova. He studied with G. M. Goroshchenko, I. I. Chekmazov, V. A. Favorsky, P. D. Pokarzhevsky. The artist’s works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, and in many private collections in Russia and abroad.
