Russian artist, landscape painter. Author of realistic and salon landscapes depicting the sea, Russian forest, winter paths and forest lakes. Worked under the influence of Yu.Yu. Klever and I.I. Shishkina. The author of numerous landscapes, which were very popular at one time and were repeatedly reproduced on art postcards in the 1900s - 1910s. The author's works are often found at modern antique auctions and are kept in museums and private collections.
