Tsvirko Vitaly Konstantinovich (1913 – 1993).

Soviet painter, People's Artist of the BSSR (1963). Member of the CPSU since 1953. Studied at the Moscow Art Institute (1935-42) with G. G. Ryazhsky. Teaches at the Belarusian Theater and Art Institute (since 1952; rector 1958-62). Chairman of the Board of the Union of Artists of the BSSR (1962-63). Author of a number of paintings dedicated to the Great Patriotic War of 1941–45 and historical and revolutionary themes. Awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor and medals.
