Painter. People's Artist of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan (1975). In 1933-1938 studied at the Kazan Art School. 1999 - Honored Artist of Russia. Member of the Union of Artists (1947). Participant of the Great Patriotic War. In the 1940s he worked as a battle painter. Author of the first large paintings about the everyday work of oil workers. In the 1960s worked in the genre of industrial landscape. The works are in many regional museums.
