Valiakhmetov Amir Khusnulovich

Painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Awarded diplomas from the Ministry of Culture of the RSFSR, a diploma of the Moscow Union of Artists (MOUSH) of the RSFSR. Born in 1927 in Kazan. In 1953 he graduated from the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I., Surikov, where he later taught. Studied with G. Ryazhsky, V. Tsyplakov, K. Maksimov. Since 1957 he has participated in exhibitions. The artist dedicated his work to the theme of the Great Patriotic War, the image of a contemporary, and the theme of the peaceful labor of Soviet people. Landscape painter. Main works: “Hero-poet Musa Jalil in the Moabit prison” (1957), “Steel is coming” (1959), “Ilyich speaks” (1961), “Night shift” (1967), “On the construction of the first five-year plan” (1968), “Mistress of the partisan dugout” (1969), “Parents” (1970), “From the exercises” (1972), “The Father” (1972), “Memories” (1980), “Alfie” (1980), “The Young Artist” (1982). The artist's works are in museums and art galleries of Kazan, Kalinin, Chita, Grozny, as well as in the Russian Museum. The works are in ten state galleries in Russia.
