Valran (Koziev) Valery Nikolaevich (1949, Izhma village, Ukhtinsky district of the Komi Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic).

Graduated from Leningrad State University (1972). Candidate of Psychological Sciences. Has been involved in art since the early 1970s. Studied in the studio of Evgeny Mikhnov-Voitenko. One of the organizers of the Autumn Photo Marathon Festival, St. Petersburg. Lives in St. Petersburg. Works are in the collections of ZM, the Römerhall Museum (Germany), the State Russian Museum, the State Museum of History of St. Petersburg, the Museum of Nonconformist Art (St. Petersburg), a number of regional museums in Russia, and private collections.
