In 1947-1950 he studied at the Higher Art and Industrial School named after V.I. Mukhina. Since the early 1950s, he began working as a set designer at the Theater Combine in Leningrad, where he served for more than thirty years. Since the mid-1950s - a participant in city, regional and all-Union exhibitions. The artist's works are presented in the collection of the State Museum and Exhibition Center "ROSIZO", the Theater Museum named after A.A. Bakhrushin, the Kaliningrad Regional Museum of Fine Arts and in other Russian museums, as well as in private collections.
