Soviet painter, graphic artist, poster artist and writer, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. She studied at the Moscow Art College at OGIZ in 1932-1936, in 1935-1939 she took lessons from graphic artist Victor Denis, and then continued her studies at the Moscow State Art Institute (now named after V. I. Surikov) in 1937-1942 under the guidance of Alexander Deineka and Georgy Ryazhsky. She participated in All-Union, national and city exhibitions; in 1957 and 1968, her solo exhibitions were held in Moscow. The artist's works are represented in the Russian State Library (RGB), the State Historical Museum (GIM), the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg (GMI SPb), the State Museum of Defense of Moscow (GMOM), the State Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War (GTSMVOV), the State Museum of Political History of Russia (GMPIR, St. Petersburg), the Tate Modern Gallery and the Victoria and Albert Museum in the UK.His works are also in private Russian and foreign galleries and collections.
