Vdovenko Boris Evgenievich

Soviet photojournalist. Since 1934, photographs of B.E. Vdovenko was published in the newspapers Pravda, Izvestia, Komsomolskaya Pravda, Evening Moscow, Sovietland, Moscow News, magazines Ogonyok, Industry, Peasant Woman, Rabotnitsa, Journal de Moscow, Physical Culture and Sports and many other periodicals. During the war, he was a photojournalist for the newspaper “Forward to the Enemy”, photographing military operations. After the end of the war, he continued to work in the press. His works were published in the magazines “Ogonyok”, “Soviet Union”, “Wings of the Motherland”, newspapers “Soviet Russia”, “Soviet Trade”. Vdovenko's photographs were used in the publication of a book about Soviet aviation. The author's works are presented in the collection of the Multimedia Art Museum, as well as in private collections.
