Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Studied at the Moscow Art School. In 1942, after graduating from art school, he was drafted into the Red Army. In 1944 he was recalled to the studio. Grekov at the Main Political Directorate of the Red Army. From 1944 to 1946 he served in the studio as a war artist. While in the studio, he participated in two exhibitions: in 1945 – with the painting “After the Battle of Iasi”, in 1946 – “On Southern Sakhalin”. From 1950 to 1956 he studied at the Art Institute. Surikov, diploma work – series “Muscovites on a Summer Sunday”, supervisor E.A. Kibrik. Participant of exhibitions since 1945. Author of the works “After the Battle of Iasi” (1945), “Portrait of the Artist” (1950), “Portrait of a Japanese Girl Hisako Nagata” (1961), “Clown” (1964), “Field Kitchen” (1965), “May” (1968), “Doll” (1969 g.), “Russian souvenirs” (1957), “Kievo-Pechora Lavra, destroyed by the Germans” and many others. A personal exhibition took place in 1964 in Moscow. From 1958 to 1982 he taught at the art department of MIT. Many works were acquired by museums across the country (Novosibirsk - “Portrait of H. Nagata”, Kazan - “After the Battle of Iasi”, Moscow, Moscow Defense Museum: front-line drawings and other works). A number of works are located abroad (America, Germany, France). In 1995, he participated in an exhibition of works by war veterans under the Government of the Russian Federation (“White House”, exhibition for Victory Day with the work “Carnations”). In 1999 - an exhibition of works by war veterans in the DH (Kuznetsky Most) - “Russian Souvenirs”. 2007 - exhibition in Manege. Works: “Bathhouse”, “Evening Song”, “Still Life by a Birch Tree”, “Portrait of a Japanese Woman”.
