Laureate of the USSR State Prize in 1951. She studied at the Drawing School in Kyiv, then at the Art Workshop under A.A. Exter. Worked in Moscow. She has participated in exhibitions since 1928. She worked as a theater artist, illustrated books, and participated in the design of films at the Mosfilm studio. Her works were exhibited at the New York World's Fair (1939). Personal exhibitions of works by S.K. Vishnevetskaya took place in Moscow (1933, 1945), Leningrad (1945). The artist’s works are stored in the State Central Theater Museum named after. A.A. Bakhrushin, in the St. Petersburg Museum of Theater and Musical Art, and other museums. During the Great Patriotic War, S.K. Vishnevetskaya worked in Leningrad, performed the “Baltic Sea in the Days of the Patriotic War” series, as well as a large number of sketches of combat episodes (gouache, 1942-1944), which, apparently, include the works presented at the auction
