Vladimirov Vladimir Petrovich (1920, Moscow - ?)

Soviet graphic artist, poster artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. He studied at the Moscow Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (MIPIDI) under P.P. Sokolov-Skal and Ya.M. Sokolova. Since 1950, he worked at the publishing house “Fine Arts” and the creative and production association Agitplakat, and since 1968 – at the creative and production workshop for visual propaganda. Participant of exhibitions since 1959. Author of such posters as “Greetings to the participants of the Spartakiad” (1956), “May - peace” (1956), “Glory to Soviet sports!” (1957), “Get out into the stadiums!” (1959). Circulation posters by V.P. Vladimirov's works are kept in museum collections in Russia and the CIS countries, as well as in private collections.
