Artist. Studied at Vkhutein with F.F. Fedorovsky. Honored Worker of Culture of the RSFSR (1974). He has been working in cinema since 1939. He has designed over 50 films. Among the most significant are “Andrei Rublev”, “Office Romance”, “The Fate of a Man”, “Zigzag of Fortune”. Laureate of the USSR State Prize in the field of cinema in 1973.
