Soviet graphic designer, industrial graphic artist, poster artist. Born in Moscow. He worked at the Production Plant of the All-Union Chamber of Commerce of the USSR, and was involved in exhibition design and industrial graphics. He collaborated with the Military Publishing House of the Ministry of the Armed Forces of the USSR and the Art Publishing House. Author of political posters: “The exploits of our people are immortal!” (1949), “Young people, learn the motor! Learn to drive a car, motorcycle, tractor! Join DOARM clubs and automoto clubs!”, “Young people, master radio technology! Join the radio circles and radio clubs of the All-Union Voluntary Society for the Promotion of the Army!” (1949, all done jointly with K.K. Ivanov), “Long live the Soviet border guards - vigilant sentries of the sacred borders of our Motherland!” (1950), “Everyone to the polls! On February 18, 1951, we will elect worthy people to the Supreme Councils of the union and autonomous republics” (1951) and others. Circulation posters of V.V. Vorontsov are stored in the Samara Regional Museum of History and Local Lore named after P.V. Alabin (SOIKM), the Saratov Regional Museum of Local Lore (SOMK), the Murom History and Art Museum (MIHM), the Uglich State History-Architecture and Art Museum, the Central Museum of Taurida (TCM), and the National Library of Belarus (NLB).
