Vovk Alexander Ivanovich

Soviet Ukrainian painter, graphic artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR. Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR. The diploma work “People of Collective Farm Fields” was especially noted at the All-Union Art Exhibition. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1950. In 1964 he was awarded a government award for the painting “T. Shevchenko in his native land.” Awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, 3rd degree (2003). Participant of city, regional, republican, all-Union (1949) exhibitions. Main works: “People of the collective farm fields” (1951), “Youth Brigade” (1952), “Youth of Kakhovka” (1957), “Tarasova’s Science” (1961), “In the Native Land” (1964), “We are back!” (1965) » V.I.
