Yakovlev Gavriil Ivanovich (1819-1826).

Academician (since 1853). Studied at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts. For years, G.I. Yakovlev persistently studied portraiture, achieving considerable skill in this type of painting. Many famous contemporaries posed for him. The artist's works are in many regional museums.
