Born in Moscow. Graduated from the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Painter and graphic artist. He painted landscapes and still lifes. In N. Novgorod - 1922-1937. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1933. He has taken part in exhibitions since 1904. Participant of art exhibitions: "5th State Exhibition of Paintings" (Moscow, 1918-1919), 1st and 3rd associations "Makovets" (Moscow, 1922-1925); 2nd OMH (Moscow, 1929), artists from 4 regions of the RSFSR (Moscow, 1936). He was an employee and director of the Nizhny Novgorod Art Museum (1922-1937). He was the director of the Nizhny Novgorod Art College (1922-1924).
