Born in Rostov the Great. Graduated from the Yaroslavl Art College (1987). Member of the Union of Artists of Russia (1993). Scholarship holder and diplomat of the Union of Artists of Russia. Member of the Creative Union of Artists (2005), Member of the International Art Fund (2010). Awarded the “Silver Medal” of the Russian Academy of Arts (2009), the “Gold Medal” of the Creative Union of Artists (2009). Participant in art exhibitions and international plein airs in Russia and abroad: Bulgaria, Hungary, Montenegro, Italy, Greece, France, Germany, China. Laureate of the Central Federal District Prize in the field of literature and art (2006). Included in the encyclopedia “The Best People of Russia” (2007). Honored Artist of Russia (2007). Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts. (2011). The artist’s works are in the collections of state art museums of Kostroma, Belgorod, Voronezh, Vyshny Volochok, the state historical, architectural and art museum-reserve “Rostov Kremlin”, the state complex - museum “Palace of Congresses” (Konstantinovsky Palace) in St. Petersburg.
