People's Artist of the USSR, Corresponding Member of the USSR Academy of Arts, Laureate of the USSR State Prize. In 1945-1950 studied at MVPKhU with S.V. Gerasimova, P.V. Kuznetsova, A.V. Kuprina. Participant of exhibitions since 1950. Took part in the design of the pavilions of the All-Russian Agricultural Exhibition. Personal exhibitions were held in Moscow (1979), Costa Rica (1974), Peru and Colombia (1976). The artist’s works are kept in many museums, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
