Zaitsev Egor Nikolaevich (born 1967, Orel).

In 1986 he graduated from the Moscow Academic School in Memory of 1905, in 1994 from the Moscow State Academy of Arts named after. V.I. Surikov in the workshop of Professor V.N. Zabelina. From 1995 to 2001 worked at the Creative Workshop of the Russian Academy of Arts under the direction of A.P. and S.P. Tkachev. In 1994 he was accepted as a member of the Moscow Union of Artists. He was awarded a Diploma of the Russian Academy of Arts (1996), a gold medal of the Russian Union of Artists (2002); first prize at the “Youth Exhibition” and a creative trip to Paris in 2002. Since 1992, a permanent participant in Russian, republican and group exhibitions. Personal exhibitions “Optina Pustyn” and “Motherland” were held in 2000 in Moscow. He took part in the painting of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. The main theme of his work is historical painting, as well as everyday genres, portraits, rural and urban landscapes. His works are in private collections in Russia and abroad.
