He drew for the satirical magazine "Ratcatcher" (1923). Since the 1930s, on orders from the Literary Museum and the Museum of History and Reconstruction of Moscow, he worked a lot on recreating the external appearance of houses in Moscow, the Moscow region, St. Petersburg - Leningrad, associated with the life and work of Russian cultural figures - A. S. Pushkin, M. Yu. Lermontov, A. P. Chekhov, N. V. Gogol, M. S. Shchepkin, V. V. Mayakovsky and others. Illustrated and designed books for Ogiz - Izogiz, publishing house "Young Guard". During the Great Patriotic War, he collaborated with TASS Windows. Since 1925 - participant of exhibitions. One of the founders of the association of artists "Being" (1925–1929), member of the Academy of Artists (1929–1931). Participant in many international exhibitions and exhibitions of Soviet art abroad: in Tokyo (1927), Winterthur (1929), Danzig (1930), Paris (1931, 1937), Lyon (1932). He held personal exhibitions in Moscow and Leningrad (1941). His work is presented in a number of museum collections, including the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Literary Museum, the Museum of the History of Moscow and others.
