Zenkova Raisa Dmitrievna

Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Born in 1912; year in the village of Grafskoye, Primorsky region of the Far Eastern Territory. Participant of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945), sniper (Order of Glory, III degree). Graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I. E. Repin (1949) in the workshop of A. M. Gerasimov, at the same time she was accepted into the Leningrad Union of Soviet Artists. Author of a number of paintings on military-patriotic themes, many portraits, and still lifes. Member of the Moscow Union of Soviet Artists since 1953. Participant of art exhibitions since 1938. Main works: “S. Kovpak and P. Vershigora" (1967), "Parade of the Red Guards" (1969), Grapes" (1972), "In the forest at the front" (1971), "On the front line" (1973), (1972), "Scouts" (1974), "By the fire" (1975).
