Zolotaykin Vladimir Kuzmich

Painter, graphic artist, enamel artist. Since 1987 - member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Born on February 10, 1946 in Petropavlovsk (Kazakhstan). In 1973 he graduated from the Moscow Art and Industrial School. M.I. Kalinina (painting teacher - Honored Worker of Culture of Russia E.I. Tretyakov). Since 1975 he worked in Borovsk, Kaluga region. Here the main genre of the artist’s work was determined - landscape. In 1984 he moved to Rostov. Participant of all-Union, republican and regional exhibitions. Participant of the III All-Russian exhibition of landscape painting "Image of Russia" (2006) in the Vologda Art Gallery. In 1988, 1996 and 2003. His personal exhibitions took place at the State Museum-Reserve "Rostov Kremlin" (the latter - paintings from private collections, which presented 54 works from the collections of Moscow, Yaroslavl, Rostov). The graphic artist, who has long received all-Russian recognition, is the author of about 300 etchings, mainly dedicated to Rostov the Great, V.K. Until recently, Zolotaykin was not so widely known as a master of the brush. Recently, his painting, strictly realistic and, at the same time, subtly poetic, has been attracting more and more interest. Works by V.K. Zolotaykina were included in the collections of the State Museum-Reserve "Rostov Kremlin", the Yaroslavl Art Museum, church museums of the Japanese Autonomous Orthodox Church in Tokyo and the Moscow Church of the Nativity of the Virgin in Stary Simonovo. They are kept in at least eleven Moscow, two Yaroslavl and four Rostov private collections. Working mainly in the genre of urban and rural landscapes, in his graphic and painting works the artist reflects the beauty of ancient Rostov and the Rostov land.
