Painter, poet, teacher, and art philosopher. One of the representatives of the post-war wave of the Russian avant-garde, a student of Ely Belyutin's "New Reality" school, and founder of the "Temporal Reality" studio (since 1978). In 1960, he graduated from the Applied Arts Department of the Moscow Textile Institute. After graduating, he worked at VIALEGPROM and traveled on assignments to Central Asia, the Baltics, and Dagestan. In 1962, he participated in an exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Moscow Union of Artists (MOSKh) at the Manege, which was destroyed by Nikita Khrushchev. The artist's works are represented in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
