Zverkhovsky Pyotr Efimovich

Soviet, Russian artist, painter, monumentalist and graphic artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1981 (since 1991 - member of the Union of Artists of Russia). In 1967 he graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute. In 1967 - 1973 he studied at the Leningrad Higher Art and Industrial School named after. V.I. Mukhina at the department of monumental painting. In 1973, at the invitation of the regional branch of the Union of Artists, he moved to Volgograd, where he was engaged in the design of cultural centers. Since the 1970s, he has participated in city, regional, all-Union and international exhibitions. In the 1990s - 2000s, the artist's personal exhibitions were held in Hanover, Madrid, Cleveland, Berlin and Potsdam. The author's works are presented in the collection of the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the Volgograd Museum of Fine Arts named after I.I. Mashkov and other regional museums, as well as in private collections.
