She graduated from the art and graphic department of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute in 1989. Since 1992, she has been a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia. Since 2001 - member of the Moscow Union of Artists. A regular participant in major Moscow contemporary art fairs and artistic and social events (ArtManege, ArtMoscow, Biennale of Contemporary Art, etc.), Marina Zvyagintseva works in a unique, self-developed technique - monotype on canvas. This is a unique technique - a kind of painting on water: when the artist applies paint to the water surface, and then transfers the image to canvas, maintaining the fluidity and unpredictability of the natural elements. Monotype as a graphic technique has been known since the 17th century, and Zvyagintseva’s know-how includes prints on canvas and three-dimensional art objects. Monotype does not look like a realistic painting; rather, it is close to the echo of our dreams, where everything real and recognizable is slightly modified, becoming more emotional and whimsical.
