Zharkikh Yuri Alexandrovich

In 1967 he graduated from the Higher Art and Industrial School named after. V. Mukhina. In the 1970s - one of the leaders of unofficial art in Leningrad and Moscow, organizer of the first exhibitions of avant-garde artists in Leningrad at the Gaza Palace of Culture (1974) and the Nevsky Palace of Culture (1975), participant in the famous Bulldozer exhibition in Moscow (1974). At the end of 1975, on the initiative of the artist, the Association of Experimental Exhibitions was created, uniting nonconformist artists. In 1977 he emigrated from the USSR, lived and worked in France and the USA. Exhibited more than 150 personal and group exhibitions in Barcelona, ​​Bonn, Brussels, London, Onto-Carlo, New York, Paris, TOKYO, and other cities.
